More than 30 Newman University students, alumni, staff, faculty and friends teamed up Sept. 18, 2015 for the Habitat for Humanity “Pope Francis Build.” Newman partnered with Habitat for Humanity and the Diocese of Wichita to help build homes for two families headed by working single mothers. The project was dedicated to Pope Francis, who had recently visited America and called for helping families in need.
