Volleyball
The Newman volleyball team overcame some early-season struggles and earned the No. 2 seed in its first-ever Heartland Conference championship tournament. The Jets finished the season with a 14-16 record. Seniors Victoria Green, Chelsey Potter, and junior Karol Marins all earned All-Heartland Conference honors, while Head Coach Joanna Pryor was named the 2010 Heartland Conference Coach of the Year.

Women’s Soccer
The Jets posted their first 10-win season as an NCAA Div. II institution, finishing with a 10-8 mark. Newman went on to finish third in the Heartland Conference with a 6-4 record in conference play. Following the season, Amanda Knabe, Emily Arden, Sade Humphrey and Lacey Alost were named to the All-Heartland Conference team, while Knabe and Arden also earned Daktronics All-South Central Region honors.
