Newman offers several academic programs belonging to its five degree-granting schools. Here are a few of the 2025 graduates.

Newman School of Arts and Sciences

Kaylyn Disbrow ’25

After earning a biology degree and business minor, Disbrow returned to Newman in fall 2025 to pursue her Master of Business Administration with a focus in healthcare administration, all while gaining hands-on experience as a graduate assistant.

School of Business & Technology

Terri Rice ’25

“My journey wasn’t just for me. It was to show others, especially those coming behind me, what can be done.”

Rice leveraged her corporate marketing background to pursue a Doctor of Business Administration at Newman. Now, she looks forward to shaping the next generation by bringing her real-world insights into the college classroom.

School of Catholic Studies

Tony Darnell ’25

“I’m very honored to have been conformed to Christ at Newman. I have had a great experience.”

Darnell earned his fourth degree, theology, and added to his previous credentials in engineering, information technology and electrical and electronic technology. After stepping away from a career in aeronautical engineering, he is now preparing for ordination as a deacon in November.

School of Education and Social Work

Zion Fewin '25

Fewin earned her Master of Social Work degree and works at Thrive Therapy, where she provides case management and therapeutic support for Medicaid patients with brain injuries.

School of Healthcare Professionals

Patricia Limo '25

“Newman’s culture and the people here changed me. I feel like I’m leaving a better person than when I first arrived.”

As a nursing graduate from Newman, Limo plans to join the U.S. Navy Nurse Corps. Her ultimate goal is to return to Africa and establish a free clinic to serve those in need.
