The Investigative Summer STEM Program is designed to enhance enthusiasm and interest of high school students in the sciences, while motivating them through exploration and testing of ideas for careers in the science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) fields. During a two-week summer stay on the Newman campus, students performed research, worked in the laboratory, gathered data, attended field trips and received two hours of college credit upon successful completion of the program.
