Newman student-athletes again earn top GPA rankings

For the sixth time in the past seven years, Newman athletic programs achieved the highest GPA in the Heartland Conference, with a combined 3.26 grade point average for the 2012-13 academic year. Newman also took the top spots for combined women’s and men’s teams, as well as baseball, men’s cross country, women’s golf, softball and both men’s and women’s tennis.
